Spacious Caribbean Style

Relax among the Caribbean colors and a mellow island vibe at the Sunset Jamaica Grande. A spectacular open-air lobby links the resort’s two guestroom towers, which overlook the sparkling Caribbean Sea and Jamaica’s lush, green countryside.

Private balconies, wood furniture and cool tile floors grace the 730 rooms and suites. All include either a king size or two double beds; modern bathroom amenities; in-room safes; direct-dial telephones with voicemail; iron boards; hairdryer; color satellite televisions and individually controlled air conditioning.

Choose from five different categories:

Resort View: Each room features a private balcony overlooking the resort or Ocho Rios. Rooms are located in the north and south towers.

Ocean View: Peer into the lush hillside from your balcony or catch a glimpse of the sparkling Caribbean from the north or south towers.

Ocean Front: Both north and south towers boast these lavish, beachfront rooms, all with a private balcony.

Cabana Beach Front: King-sized beds and private patios distinguish these superb rooms, located in the two-story Cabana wing along the South Pointe Beachfront. Recommended for wedding couples and honeymooners, the maximum occupancy is two adults.

One Bedroom Suites: These corner suites dominate the South Pointe tower. Each contains a master bedroom with a king-sized bed, full bath and balcony, plus a separate sitting room with a full-size sleeper sofa, another full bath and balcony. The direct beachfront views are sensational.

Or be ‘irie’ and opt for traditional Jamaican Jerk Chicken with a cold Red Stripe Beer... the perfect meal, island style. The Grande Palm

A buffet style, open-air restaurant overlooking the fantasy pool’s meandering river and waterfalls, or the sparkling Caribbean Sea.

Every Tuesday evening, celebrate everything Jamaican with our weekly beach party. Tiki torches line the way to an evening of steel drum music, beachfront bonfires, and a sumptuous Jamaican-style buffet. Irie mon!

The resort’s eight bars are great places to unwind and socialize, choose from beach bars and swim-up bars to lobby bars and a nightclub. Or test your luck in the casino, home to electronic black jack and 80 slot machines.

Inspired by the refreshing and majestic Jamaica Blue Mountains and the clear, calming Caribbean Sea, the new Aqua Azul Spa offers you an escape for the senses.

Melt away tension in the sauna or steam rooms. Dissolve stress with hydrotherapy treatments. Or just surrender under the experienced hands of a massage therapist.

Today’s massage therapy has multi-level benefits. Our highly trained therapists offer a variety of techniques including Thai, Swedish, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Hot Stone, Sports Massage and others. To get that ‘glow’ you might opt for a variety of Cleansing Facial treatments, or an Uplifting Body Scrub.

The Aqua Azul Spa also offers an array of pampering packages You’ll be snapping your fingers and tapping your feet in style, after the legendary “Reggae Retreat” package, featuring a manicure, pedicure and 30-minute massage. The “Rasta Delight” option adds a mini facial too.

Other unique spa services include reflexology, a milk and honey body wrap, mango manicure and the popular coffee ground scrub to ease the appearance of cellulite.

Spa facilities include three wet rooms offering a host of hydrotherapy treatments, single and two couples massage rooms, two facial rooms, and separate steam and sauna facilities for men and women. Salon services include hair, make-up and manicure/pedicure treatments.
