Grand Palladium Palace Dining

The cuisine of the Dominican Republic offers a wide variety of dishes which are a blend of Taino, African and Spanish influences and which result in an explosion of taste, rich with flavours.

From all these different cuisines, in addition to the ingredients and also the style of cooking, the typical “criollo” or creole cooking has developed, which is the Dominican cuisine

Some of the dishes typical of creole cuisine are: moro rice and beans or pigeon peas, chambre which is like moro but in a more liquid form, plátanos maduros al caldero are bananas flavoured with sugar and cinnamon and habichuelas con dulce is a typical dessert made from beans and served during Lent.

There is an infinite variety, all kinds of rice, fried dishes pork pasties or fried pork scratchings, and cured meats are just some of the popular meals.

Guests at the Grand Palladium Palace Resort Spa & Casino have three magnificent buffet-style restaurants at their disposal: one air-conditioned buffet-style restaurant where they can taste a wide and varied selection of international dishes. In the air-conditioned Mediterranean ‘a la carte’ restaurant they can enjoy the delicious dishes typical of the Mediterranean cuisine, and a third restaurant in the beach and pool area where they can eat while enjoying the beautiful view.

The Sports bar with snacks is the perfect place to eat something light between meals and is open between 10 a.m. and 6 a.m.

There are 4 Restaurants at Grand Palladium Palace Resort:

La Chichigua - Casual buffet restauant serving Italian cuisine, pasta and pizza. Located at the Fiesta Beach. Serving lunch (11am-3pm) and dinner from 7pm-10pm.

El Bohio - Serves continental breakfast (10:00 am to 12 noon), buffet lunch (12:00 noon to 4:00 pm) and snacks (10:00 am to 5:00 pm).

Mare Nostrum - A la carte restaurant specializing in a wide variety of different Medit- erranean entrees. Serves dinner from 7pm-10pm. Reservations are required. Men are required to wear a dress shirt and long pants.

Las Torres - Buffet restaurant serving breakfast (7am-10am), lunch (11am-3pm) and dinner (7pm-10pm).

Varied and friendly social program. Everyday our expert team of entertainment directors will organise daytime and night time activities aimed at amusing adults and children. Guests at the Grand Palladium Palace Resort Spa & Casino can enjoy the 6 restaurants located in the Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort & Spa and Grand Palladium Bávaro Resort & Spa.

They can also make use of the disco and Miniclub Fort Fiesta (4-12 years) with 1,400 square metres of space dedicated to children, without doubt the children’s favourite spot, where they can enjoy an enormous variety of activities and games, always supervised by expert professionals. Both facilities are located in the Grand Palladium Bávaro Resort & Spa. All included 24 hours: national drinks and meals.
