Iberostar Paraiso Beach sits between Playa Del Carmen and the lesser known city of Puerto Morelos which is about 15 minutes away from Cancun International Airport. On the other hand, the glamorous Playa Del Carmen is fast-paced and vibrant. It's full of tourists flocking to the beach by day and hanging out by the bars at night. Iberostar Paraiso Beach is more of a families resort. It has a colonial look reminiscent of Mexican culture with arches and columns adorning the entire hotel. The furniture decorating this all-inclusive resort is more like masterpieces, each one made to take center stage. The sightseeing begins right when you check-in, with breathtaking wood carvings at the reception's desk. It's truly beautiful. Over -crowding won't be a problem here. The hotel is so big, there's a trolley passing through the hotel every 15 minutes bringing you to destinations like the restaurants, lobby, your room and even the shopping center and world-class spa that's part of the Paraiso complex.

The Iberostar Paraiso Beach was great! If you go to have fun...you will. More of a family place than romantic couples which was perfect for us. Everyone was very friendly, and you definitely get more with sugar than with force.
The beach was great. You need to get there very early to get a chair with shade. We ended up going every night between 4:30 and 7:00 PM. It was amazing! The nighttime entertainment is not Broadway, but it was entertaining. After the nightly shows there was karaoke in one of the bars, and then there was a hopping night club until 3am.
The buffet was perfect because everyone was able to get what they wanted. The restaurants were a nice change of pace.The facility was very large. The walking didn't bother us - it actually helped us work off all of the food and ice cream (They have an ice cream bar near the pool that opens at 11am).
I would recommend taking the first day to explore all of the amenities. We finally figured everything out...and then we had to leave.

Entertainment by Star Friends
This resort offers a variety of entertainment and activities, including sports, competitions and games. The resort also has a program called Lucy´s Mini-Club where children ages 4-12 can enjoy a variety of fun, supervised activities, including games, singing, painting and swimming in the children´s pool.
 EL SPA (only for adults) is in the Iberostar Playa Paraiso Commercial Center. It is a magnificent place to find and experience new sensations. The facilities consist of the humid areas in the ground floor with Sauna, Turkish Bath, Roman Bath, Jacuzzi, Bubble Beds, the Pediluvio and a great swimming pool with jets.
In the first floor are located the cabins the treatments. All a range of massages, exfoliations and treatments with water are offered. In addition there is a hairdressing salon with modern equipment for the care of feet and hands, the Health Bar and the store.
The access to the humid area costs USD 35 by person. In combination with a massage or beauty treatment the access is free.
