The Gran Bahia Principe Tulum resort was huge and really nice! The staff was wonderful and always willing to help. They always had a smile on their faces. The beach sand was clean, and there was someone walking around cleaning all the time. The water was warm and nice and clear. They had 4 or 5 pools and they were all very clean and also warm. They had trams that you could ride to different spots in the resort because it was so big. They ran every 15 minutes. Food and drinks were all good. The Gran Bahia Príncipe Resort is formed by three 5 star hotels (Tulum, Akumal, and Coba) with a total of 1,440 rooms, the commercial and entertainment center "Hacienda Doña Isabel" and the best variety of services in the Caribbean. GRAN BAHIA PRINCIPE TULUM has 774 Standard double rooms, most of which have a sea view, and 36 Junior Suites (with hydro massage tub and located right on the beach). They are all spacious and comfortable, with first-class decoration: marble, elegant wood finishes, etc
They are set in three-story villas, each with 18 rooms, among palm trees and at a maximum distance of 150m from the beach.
Standard Room
All Bahia Principe Tulum double rooms have two beds or a king-size double bed, a terrace, air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, a telephone, satellite television and a complete bathroom in marble with hand drier. There is also a mini-bar, security boxes for rent and cribs (if previously requested).
Junior Suite
Bahia Principe Tulum's Junior Suites have two beds or a king-size double bed, a terrace, air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, telephone, satellite television, a complete bathroom in marble with hand drier and a hydro massage tub. Gran Bahia Principe Tulum Dining
You can enjoy different gastronomic styles at Bahia Principe Tulum's five restaurants: the Main Restaurant with international buffet; three speciality restaurants: Mexican, Grill and International Gourmet; and a snack bar with fast food open 24 hours.
You can also visit any of Bahia Principe Tulum's six bars, all with different styles, located in different parts of the hotel: on the beach, in the swimming pools, in the lobby and in the amphitheatre.
The gastronomic range is completed by the Bars and Restaurants of Hacienda Doña Isabel (charged extra).
Suitable dress is required for access to the main restaurant and diners may not wear swimsuits. Long trousers and closed-toe shoes are also required in the themed restaurants.
YUCATAN
Buffet service in a large dining-room with pleasant views, covered by one of the hotel's largest palapas and the decoration that adorns the main hand-carved and painted furniture depicts scenes from Mayan life.
The restaurant has an excellent selection of buffets where you may sample international cuisine on a different theme every night.
The restaurant is exclusively for the use of guests staying at Bahia Principe Tulum.
LAS OLAS
A completely casual atmosphere located on the beach offering snacks and fast food. Grilled meats, sausages, hamburgers, pizzas and a selection of salads.
LA GRAN TORTUGA
Situated facing the sea, but at the southern end of the hotel, this restaurant offers buffet breakfasts and lunches and, for dinner, exquisite grilled a la carte specialities.
For the a la carte dinner, prior reservation is necessary at the Public Relations office located in the Bahia Principe Tulum lobby. Guests may dine in this restaurant once a week. (Subject to availability).
TEQUILA
Located facing the sea at the northern end of the hotel, it offers a la carte dinner with Mexican cuisine.
Enjoy Mexican food and the Tequila tradition.

DON PABLO

Gran Bahia Principe Tulum Activities
Enjoy Gran Bahia Principe Tulum's Facilities: a main swimming pool in the shape of a lake for activities, with a special area for children; two relaxation pools with jacuzzi, both with children's section (one of these is exclusively for guests of the Club Hacienda Príncipe) and a gigantic open-air jacuzzi; a large solarium with sunloungers and sunshades; private beach; towel service at pools and beach. Mini club for children. Amphitheatre for shows and performances. Three tennis courts, a water sports centre and a gym. Shops offer emergency items as well as gifts. Very extensive natural surroundings and meeting rooms with top quality furnishings.
Bahia Principe Tulum offers the facilities of a Mini-Club called "El Principito" for the enjoyment and healthy entertainment of children, located next to the amphitheatre right on the beach, very near the central swimming-pool. It has furniture designed with children in mind, mini baths and a wide variety of games and activities. The entire area is properly closed off for the children's safety and has shaded areas to protect them from the Caribbean sun. Bahia Principe Tulum's monitors speak several languages.
The club also organises evening activities including a children's show. Use of the children's club is subject to specific rules that parents must respect to guarantee their children's complete safety.
AGES Children aged between 4 and 12 years are welcome, split into 3 groups:
* Infants: 4-6 years
* Princes: 7-9 years
* Kings: 10-12 years
TIMETABLE: 9.00am - 9.15pm.

GENERAL RULES
* All children who participate in the Bahia Principe Tulum Mini-Club must be handed over by their parents or relatives, who must inform the educator who will come to collect them. Under no circumstances must the children be allowed to go on their own or with a stranger.
* The parents or person responsible for the children must sign a form exempting the hotel from liability in the event of any incident.
* Parents are advised to protect their children against the sun's rays and ensure they wear T-shirts, caps, and sunscreen.

Gran Bahia Principe Tulum Spa Facilities
The new MARINE SPA health and beauty centre is at one end of the Gran Bahia Principe Tulum, next to the beach. This centre has three massage and treatment rooms, two saunas (one for men and the other for women), two Jacuzzis with wonderful sea views (one hot and the other cold) and a fully-equipped gymnasium, also with sea views.
The services are completed with two beautiful palm shelters on the beachfront where you can either enjoy relaxing massages or change your image by wearing typical Caribbean plaits in your hair.
