The newest to the Gran Bahia Principe collection, the Gran Bahia Principe Coba is located in landscape gardens behind the Gran Bahia Principe Akumal. All junior suites have a jacuzzi and are distributed in 3 story villas with two large lagoon size swimming pools with sun beds and sun shades. Specialty restaurants include exclusive dining within the hotel plus a choice of gourmet restaurants a Grand Bahia Principe Akumal.
The project was carried out following patterns of sustained tourism in order to make the best use of all the area's resources. The kilometre-long beach is completely natural, and large, manicured gardens will make your strolls around the complex all the more enjoyable. Gran Bahia Principe Coba Dining
The Gran Bahia Principe Coba Resort offers casual buffet-style dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a choice of indoor, air-conditioned or outdoor terrace dining. International a la carte dining venues are available for lunch and dinner. Several outdoor bars offer snacks throughout the day along with your favorite beverages (surcharges apply for international brands). Live shows and special theme nights are presented nightly at the amphitheatre, and several bars feature live music every evening.
Restaurants
There are many options for dining, both buffet style and a la carte.
The main restaurant is a large international buffet, offering an amazing array of choices and incorporating show cooking stations.
There are four a la carte specialty restaurants, featuring seafood, Meditteranean and Japanese specialties and an International gourmet spot.
In addition, guests are welcome to sample the cutting edge Asian offerings of The Oriental, located in the Dona Isabel Hacienda complex.
A la carte restaurants all require advance reservations and have a resort casual dress code.
With a total of eight bars on the hotel grounds, you will never go thirsty here! There are two swim-up bars in the pools, a beach bar incorporated into the snack bar (open 24 hours), a Jacuzzi bar, Lobby bar with live music nightly, Hollywood show bar at the amphitheatre, the club golden bar and a piano bar. In addition, there is a sports bar and a disco at the Hacienda Dona Isabel.
La Rancherita Disco
Located in the Hacienda Dona Isabel, with murals of hand-painted tropical fruits in electric colors, the La Rancherita disco is the premiere night-spot for the hotel guests and other visitors. Hotel guests are granted free admission with complimentary local beverages. Themed parties and contests are organized nightly.

Gran Bahia Principe Coba Activities
Design your days to be as active or as laid-back as you want them to be at the all-inclusive Gran Bahia Principe Coba Resort. In addition to the broad, reef-protected white-sand beach just a short walk through the complex from your room, and two spectacular pool areas with expansive sunning decks, resort activities include Merengue and salsa lessons, bikes for use on property, a diving clinic in pool, various pool games, tennis, volleyball, soccer, aerobics, a full service gym and body sculpting classes. A variety of water sports is available on the beach, at the onsite dive shop and aquatic center. Windsurfing, catamarans, kayaks, boogie boards, sunfish and snorkeling equipment are all included in your package.
The two large lake-style pools are very active during the day with water aerobics, music, games and contests. Both pools have integrated Jacuzzis and roped off children's sections. There is also a gigantic beachfront Jacuzzi. Guests will enjoy the large sun terraces with sunshades and Teka sunbeds.
The all-inclusive plan at the Gran Bahia Principe Coba includes room accommodations as selected; unlimited meals and snacks; unlimited beverages including domestic alcoholic drinks; in-room mini-bar; all services, facilities, bars and restaurants at sister resorts in the complex, Gran Bahia Principe Tulum and Akumal (except the Gourmet and main buffet restaurants); supervised kids club for ages 4-12; fully equipped fitness center; non-motorized water sports including windsurfing, kayaks, catamarans, snorkeling, one introductory scuba lesson in the pool (one hour only); tennis (night play with extra charge); mountain bikes; resort activities and entertainment. The hotel offers the facilities of a mini-club for the enjoyment and healthy entertainment of children, located next to the amphitheatre right on the beach. It has furniture designed with children in mind, mini bath facilities and a wide variety of games and activities. The entire area is properly closed off for the children's safety and has shaded areas to protect them from the Caribbean sun. Professional animators team members speak several languages and make it their goal to make every child feel welcome and have fun. The club also organizes evening activities including a children's show. Use of the children's club is subject to specific rules that parents must respect to guarantee their children's complete safety.

The new Marine Spa health and beauty center is in a great location next to the beach. The services are completed with two beautiful palm shelters on the beachfront where you can either enjoy relaxing massages or change your image by having your hair braided!
