Almond Beach Village Accommodations

At the Almond Beach Village all-inclusive resort, guests have the opportunity to stay in one of the 395 guestrooms available. Rooms contain balconies or patios with dining sets, two-poster beds, mahogany-stained furniture with wicker insets, cushioned armchairs, tile floors, tropical-print fabrics, and ceiling fans in addition to air conditioning.

A very large suite with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living area, and dining areas. Of course, it wouldn't be a Presidential Suite without the gorgeous view of the lush gardens, fabulous pool area, and sparkling waters of the Caribbean.

Almond Beach Village Dining

Almond Beach Village in St. Peter, Barbados, offers several fine-dining experiences. The Reef features elegant outdoor dining beside the Caribbean, while other restaurants offer more informal family meals. Enids, meanwhile, serves up the authentic tastes of Bajan fare, fresh from the sea.

The Reef
The Reef is a beautiful al fresco restaurant situated directly on the beach at Almond Beach Village. With magnificent views of the white sand beaches and turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea, The Reef offers vacationers casual ocean-side dining for breakfast, lunch and snacks and in the evening, The Reef offers decadent fine dining and the freshest seafood available in the Caribbean. Reservations are required for dinner.

The Horizon
The Horizon Restaurant is Almond Beach Village’s main restaurant, offers a panoramic view of the celebrated Caribbean Sea and serves three delicious meals a day. Breakfast offers a full buffet with made-to-order omelets. Lunch is served a la carte except for on Saturdays and Sundays when lunch is served buffet style. The Horizon Restaurant earns its name at dinner when the restaurant is filled with the crimson light of the setting Caribbean sun. Dinner is a la carte from a different menu each night with a decadent Caribbean buffet on Saturdays and a sizzling barbecue on Wednesdays nights. Horizons specializes in classic continental cuisine.

La Smarrita
For a true taste of Italy, La Smarrita at Almond Beach Village serves authentic Northern Italian cuisine nightly from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. The sophisticated atmosphere, along with rich Roman décor, fine linens and elegant china make dining at La Smarrita an elegant and unforgettable treat. Fresh seafood, homemade pasta, steak and poultry are specialties of the house and are served festively by a gracious and elaborately costumed staff. Reservations are required. NOTE: Adult only. Gentlemen are required to wear collared shirt and trousers. No shorts allowed.

Enid’s Restaurant
Enid's Restaurant at Almond Beach Village is the resort's very own special tribute to the incredible down-home Bajan cuisine favored by locals and tourists throughout the Caribbean. From island favorites like fish stew, macaroni pie and rice and peas to fantastic fried chicken, Enid's is a taste of Barbados at its very best. Open dinner, Enid's is not to be missed. No reservations required.

Inter-Dining
Almond Resorts guests can enjoy various dining venues at any of the Almond Resorts properties on-island. A shuttle is available daily to escort you to the various resorts.

Almond Beach Village Activities

Almond Beach Village has ten freshwater swimming pools as well as two cool freshwater jacuzzis for its Caribbean vacationers. As part of the all-inclusive resort features, guests will be able to participate in numerous water and land sports, including hobiecat sailing, snorkeling, waterskiing, windsurfing, reel fishing, aquacycles, kayaks, fishing, squash, tennis and par 3 nine-hole golf.

Aerobics, step, West Indian dance, and Aquacise classes are available at the Fitness center, along with use of LifeCycles, StairMasters, treadmills and free weights. A personal trainer is available to hotel guest for a personalized fitness regime. Guests can also enjoy the spa at Almond Beach Club.

Almond Beach Village Kids Club
Almond Resorts offers something for all parents. Like a full-service nursery that provides indoor and outdoor recreation for children up to two years old. Our Kids' Club offers activities for children – ranging from three to twelve – that include beach and pool activities, lessons in local dance, culture and music, plus computers and video games. Movies, water sports, disco night and much more await teens who visit our shores. And finally, for our parents, you can find refuge in the solitude of our spa, a late dinner for just two, or simply spend some time together. Doing nothing at all. Which is truly a vacation in itself.

Hours of Operation
Open daily from 0900-2200 hrs (nursery and mini club open until 1700 hrs). After 0500pm children under 5 years require a babysitter.

* Nursery: Newborn - 23 months
* Mini Club: 2 - 4 years
* Kids Club: 5 - 7 years & 8 - 12 years
* Teen Centre: 13 years and over

Requirements
* A change of clothing is required for children doing water activities.
* Bring your own t-shirt for tie dying and t-shirt painting.

Additional Services
Private babysitting is available at a fee and is payable locally - maximum of 3 children per family.
